2024 | TorahResource Pronomian Conference

God’s Torah Among the Followers of Yeshua

The purpose of the 2024 TorahResource Pronomian Conference (TRPC) is to nurture and promote positive scholarly discourse about God’s Torah among the followers of Yeshua. Join Rob Vanhoff as he moderates an afternoon of academic papers and discussion on Pronomian topics. More speakers will be announced as they are confirmed.

The TRPC is a virtual event created to further the Pronomian discussion among Torah observant and non-Torah observant Believers. “Pronomian” (meaning “Pro Law” in Greek) is a theological position that affirms the validity of God’s law, to some degree, within the life of a Christian.

Dr. Benjamin Szumskyj

Dr. Benjamin Szumskyj has a Ph.D. in Bible Exposition (Liberty University), two Master’s Degrees (Divinity, Liberty University; and Biblical Studies, Moody Bible Institute), and three Bachelor’s Degrees (Education, Society & Environment, and Theology), two Graduate Diplomas (Christian Studies and Librarian Technician), and three Graduate Certificates (Biblical Counseling Institute Ohio; Institute of Jewish Studies; Christian Institute on Disability). Teaching for almost twenty years, Dr. Szumskyj currently teaches for Veritas Scholars Academy, is an instructor at TorahResource Institute, and an independent scholar. In addition to several articles, he is the author of Fantasy, Horror, and the Truth: A Christian Insider’s Story (Aneko Press, 2020), Souls Knit Together: Thirty-One Lessons On Friendship From David And Jonathan (Pronomian Press, 2024), Pronomian Foundations: Abiding in the Living Word through the Written Word (PK Publishers, 2024), The Laws of Torah in the Sanctification of the Modern Christian: A Brief Introduction to Pronomianism (Wipf & Stock, 2025), Love and the Law: A Pronomian Pocket Guide to John 14:15 (Pronomian Press, 2025), and editor of Introduction to Pronomianism: Its Ecclesial Context and Adherence to One Torah (McFarland Press, 2025). Above all, he loves YHWH as his Lord and Savior, and is happily married to Stacia and is the father of two sons, David and Noah, and a daughter, Rebekah, who he will see again in Heaven.

Benjamin Frostad

Benjamin Frostad is a PhD candidate in religious studies at McMaster University. He holds a Certificate in Advanced Biblical and Religious Studies from TorahResource Institute and an MA in Biblical Languages and Exegesis from Briercrest Seminary. His research focuses on New Testament writings within the context of Early Judaism, with a particular focus on non-Jewish Torah observance and the letters of Paul. Ben, his wife, and their four children belong to a local Messianic community in Saskatchewan, Canada.
