Identity and One Torah

This fascinating series looks at the place and identity of each person in the body of Messiah. Tim Hegg challenges the suggestion that there are different roles for Jew and Gentile by first looking at Paul’s term “In Messiah.” Tim then looks at the doctrinal issues that often trip people and groups up within Torah communities.

Tim argues that the Torah was given to Israel, but that Gentiles are grafted into the people of Israel through Christ and have the same covenant blessings and obligations as native-born Israel. Identity comes through our attachment to Yeshua and being His servants, not to a cultural marker. Thus, as followers of our Lord, we are all one body and therefore should all be viewed equally within the body.
